My rating: 5 of 5 stars “it was amazing”

Red is a big, mean bully. He is mean to blue. The other colors are nice to blue but don’t stand up to red. Red grows in size and power. Until 1 comes along! 1 makes everyone laugh and stands up to red when he is mean. The other colors learn to do the same and stand together. They transform into a colorful force of numbers and include red when he has been humbled. This book is a triple threat for early read-aloud concepts. Colors, numbers, and bullying (kindness, bravery, the power of one and the power of many). “Everyone counts!” they shouted. Clever language characterizes the book and deepens it with double meaning that will get families and kids talking, making this a ripe selection for re-reading (and book awards by the look of it). I’m interested in finding similar books. Know any?
